Just a quick line to give a public "thank you" to Brett & Evelyn Morris, Nick Nelson, the dedicated starters, and the rest of the organisers of last weekend's Celebration of Windsurfing. Thanks also to Sam from Wind Surf 'N Snow and Neil Pryde, the sponsors.

It was great to get all the different area of our sport, from longboards to wavesailors, together. One of the best things about the sport is its diversity - the fact that for not a lot of cash and hassle you can do anything from light-air racing to looping - and the C of B underlined that.

Thanks also to the wavesailer/freestylers who were good humoured about the Windsurfer One Design sailors taking off with the cash in the freestyle comp, held in light winds.
