Drill small hole in tendon and fit a screw in hole. Use pliers or multigrips on screw to remove tendon as in corkscrew style.
With the kitchen drill and the kitchen pliers I guess

Is North a weird system? cos on every one I've seen there is a cup which the tendon sits in, with a crossbolt to hold it in. At the base of the cup there is another bolt (in line with the tendon).... so once the cross bolt is removed all you have to do is knock
in the bolt in the base and it will push the broken tendon
out. Streamlined / Chinook etc.
