I know that this has been mentioned before but it doesn't hurt to bring it up again.

There is a scammer going around and he / she was using the email pearl.jackson.... I have even had texts from this person who is now using another email samuelolivia...

So if you have something in the buy and sell, keep this in mind if you get an enquiry and it sounds suspect.

The only revenge we can get is to waste their time, so if you have time to play with tthem, take them for a spin.
Get interested, start negotiations, get their hopes raised for as long as you can.
..but never provide your adress, or any personal details...

I had a similar experience some time ago, where the individual posted a link to paypal. I thought the link was suss, so I ignored thier link and logged in with paypal through the regular paypal accout, and no such invoice existed. The link would have given them my credit card details and my password.
They're getting imaginative and it takes a great deal of trust out of a simple transaction, even to the point where my wife thinks I'm distrusting. I guess I'm a product of my environment.

and easy and i promise you that you would not regret using there
service because i have been using their service for the past 6 years
now for so many transactions via the internet and i have not regret

the sign up button, then you register your details there and you will
see its free and fast and as soon as you are done with that, then get
back to me with your paypal email and i will proceed with the payment
immediately.

I had "Andrew Bond" txt me saying to reply to him via email only.
So I did, heres his response:


Alright Mate,

I am very keen. How i wish i could come for viewing and inspection as
am currently overseas(Malaysia) at the moment and i want it picked up
before i get back, though i wont back in couple of weeks. Due to my
inability to make a bank deposit,I would be paying via PayPal which is
safer for me. Kindly send me a paypal payment invoice or create an
account at www.paypal.com if you dont have one. I will make a
concrete pick up arrangement with my transport agent who will be
coming over for pick up once you receive full payment into your PayPal
account. Have a nice day. Few more photos will be appreciated as well
and I am pleased with the price.

Did a quick google "andrew bond" , took about 3 secs to find out hes a scammer.
He operates by sending you a fake paypal receipt saying hes payed the money into your paypal account. Next he tells you to send part of this money hes given you back through western union, to pay for the "shipping" to malaysia.

Quite easy to tell these guys are scammers. But makes you wonder how many people actually fall for these types of things

Yep, thats exactly what I got, just the different name and then .......
As mentioned in the receipt of Payment and as per the new PayPal Payment policy for international transactions involving huge amounts, we have fully debited the total amount (above) from the buyer's account which includes the shipper's pick up fees.
In order to complete this transaction and get the funds approved in your account. We request that you first go to the nearest Western Union Office, and send the $850.00 AUD to the Shipping Agent and send us a Scanned Copy/Photograph of your Western Union Transaction Receipt (in .JPG Format).

Any time someone wants you to pay using Western Union be very suspicious.
They are the company that all the frauds use because they don't have the same checks / balances and / refunds that other companies such as Visa and paypal do.

Just in case anyone believes what i wrote, it's not true don't sell to him.

i have recieved 3 diffrent txt's for my latest add, fairly annoying.

I strung one of these along for nearly 4 weeks when selling a fridge on GumTree. I find it quite good sport on those days and nights which aren't suitable for much else.
