hi Minnie Maus,

hope the WindWanderers Website helps out

a couple of more things are :-

sunshine coast.

great place for speed at golden beach and waves on any of the open beaches, particularly mooloolaba and neil st, ann street. prob with sunshine coast is that winter isn't kind with not many great places to go in a westerly.

gold coast.

great waves on the open beaches, miami, narrow neck, north kirra and speed sailing at the train. shearwater for those 30+ days when the surf is out of control. not the best in winter when the westerlies are blowing.

bayside/redcliffe.

can be sailed in any wind direction. but no waves. wello is the centre of the universe in winter when the westerlies blow.

the bayside and redcliffe are good compromises. redcliffe is about 45 mins from caloundra and bayside about an hour from gold coast waves.
