Doesn't sound right, should only be a couple of hundred dollars, are you registered with them?

Smartsend, hands down the best as you can talk to a person.
If something goes wrong with E-go they disappear... and well you've seen the Transdirect quote that speaks for itself lol.
I do WA to NSW or Vic for around $400 and I wayyyyy overpack the board so you should be able to get a lot better than $500!

The cheap and nasty carrier also has appalling (lack of) cyber security. Take note that there is a map on the updates page which, initially, shows just the delivery address (ie usually your address).
Now simply increment the consignment number up or down and enjoy free insights into everyone else's delivery details. And you wonder why stuff disappears!
