We are heading down to beachport for the long weekend, a speed comp and slalom session in Lake George is being held by ONBOARD, I think this is happening?

Sounds like there is plenty of water in the lake, so conditions should be good.

would absoulatly love to come down.. however im not sure wether i can afford it!! the boat is like $140 bucks then fuel food and accomadation!! it would be a bit of an expensive weekend! im running a little empty on the cash.

lol were abouts are you staying? how much further is it to drive compared to robe????

As long as Trevor the dog is going as well. After our trip from Vic last year to Lake George speedcamp, I've kinda miss him - made my trip!

Hey Red (sorry I have forgotten your name), Trevor is all over this trip, I am positive he knows its coming up!

.....and Chris, Accomodation is sorted, theres a spare room in our shack if you decide to come down. Beachport is 25 minutes on from Robe.

I was in ONBOARD last week, draining my bank balance, Pete showed me a Naish SUP board that had a mast slot on it, keen to give this babay a crack.

Not sure what the score is at the moment, timing is going to be very tight....

Picked up a board tonight

hoping my mast, sails etc will be delivered at end of next week, and Anita is hoping to arrive from the UK on the Saturday morning. As she is flying the day after a series of night shifts she will already be working on Oz time so as long as she got a kip on the plane she might be up for it.

What is the score on the accomodation? Do you need to book in advance or are you likey to be able to sort something out on arrival?

I am not really into the speed thing and I don't even own a GPS, but I am going down anyway to have some fun. Heading down to Beachport on Friday and coming back on Tuesday.

I'm going to check third ramp out on the way down on Friday hoping to get a sail in there.

I saw on the news this morning that rain and fronts will be moving in the for the end of next week

Just checked the latest report from the bureau of meterology for the south east its going to be NW to N 20 to 30 then swinging around to SW on friday arvo around 20 knots as the second front passes over, so if it doesnt move to quickly we should get some decent wind, at least sat should be ok. Should be the goods if its blowing square on to the spit like 2005

Get your small sails and boards out guys. It looks like there should be a nice breeze tomorrow 35 to 45 knots. Saturday also is looking pretty good!

You will not have time to watch the footy.

hey DZUB u should have an epic robe tomorrow!!! 4-6 mtr swell.. **** load of wind!!! lucky u... any chance of some photos?? hope u have a good session... peace.

Photos of 4-6 mtr swell and 30 knots, pretty keen to see this!
