Thinking of heading up to Lake Bonney for a sail.

Is it OK to sail off the caravan park ?
i.e. any issues with water depth, snags, etc?

And/Or is there a better spot ?

Any tips appreciated

Hey Tonto you won't have any problems sailing from the caravan park but Sunday the wind will be blowing from the south and it will be very gusty and offshore in close.Your best bet is around in front of the footy club or around Apex Park(1 km past the football club).Water depth is around 3-4m with regards to snags just keep away from any of the dead trees and you will be fine.
