I think that's the former national champ in Dragon class yachts, so he's not a bad tactician! The fleet also included a two-time world Moth dinghy champ.
I *&^%$# well had to miss it and state titles in two other classes I sail this year.
At least two of the three were on my old home waters in strong winds - would have been perfect! Damn damn damn!
