I'm looking for a super controllable board to use in rough water like Leeman Race conditions & Cervantes. I have the go fast boards but my issue is I go too fast for my ability in the conditions OR I'm a pussy and should just destroy myself. I'd lIke to get air again so looking for a thruster set up whe I can also go single fin. Would like to be able to use Tuttle fins but may not be possible? I like JP FSW 90-103litres SB Kode 95l. Any others to consider? Or available? Or are these 2 perfect. I would also use it in the rougher N-NW winter conditions here in Busso. Not super fast but fast & predictable able to get air frequently. It's a given that it will turn nicely. Sails NP Fusion 4.5,5.0 atm Cheers Dave

Someone will be along shortly to recommend the Dyno and they won't be wrong. The Goya One would also be good and maybe more conventional.
The boards you listed are on the large side for those using those sails in powered up conditions. At 85kg I'd be on 85-90L if it was 5.0 or better and no proper waves.

I think the 94 litre Exocet Cross Carbon or 94 litre Exocet Cross Silver would be a good option for a single fin free ride wave bump and jump with outboard and single inner straps. If you want a thruster with the blanking plates and single fin option the Exocet X Wave might be worth looking at too. I think the 2019, 90 or 2020, 95 litre Naish Starship might also be worth looking at. Also the 2019 or 2020 Goya One Freewave.

I'm enjoying my 85ltre Windtech Magic Bullitt. Like you I didn't want speed when it got gnarly..
I got 26.5kts on it in the chop last sail so it's not a slug.
I love the adjustable tail. When the conditions are tamer I lock it in a flatter faster rocker for early planing and speed.
Last sail it was 25kts plus with waist high chop and windswells. I unscrewed the tail and left a few mms of play in it and it was super comfy and it slowed it down a bit..it was still fast enough for me!
I'd usually be on a 68ltre board in those conditions but because of the adjustability the extra size wasn't an issue.
They also make a 95ltre..

I think you sold the board you want to Maddlad last year

ok, the carve probably won't do bump n jump too well, bit too heavy for the jumping bit. But theyve got that chop eating feel to them, with a turn of speed when pushed, which sounds like 2/3rds of what you're after.

I've heard good things about the Severne Dyno, and it seems to tick all of your boxes, except its a powerbox centre fin.

i actually bought an old carve 99 off your gps team mate last year as well. Possibly the best money i spent on windsurfing last year. See how it goes in Cervantes

Tabou 3S for proper B&J or Tabou Rocket for more rough water blasting.

I love my Starship!! Best board I ever sailed, and it loves to jump and drag race. It's super fast! After I wear it out, I will buy the next new Starship model.

JP FSW, Pro construction. The S-glass really smoothes out the chop.
