Wind-wise, was mostly a non-event, but still some good freestyle (including some boat-powered) took place. I always fly the Aussie flag during events and for my sponsorship. However, woulda been way behind the PWA types had the wind picked up like last year LOL.

Phil, on top of being a top-rank PWA freestyler, is also a great organiser of fun events.

Photo at the bottom of article: in non-event winds, Aussie ex-pat riding an old original Sydney sail, on a board owned by Aussie B. Stuart at the Worlds' championships way back then. I find modern large sails+booms don't work well for longboard freestyle. Picture taken by my Aussie mongrel, who rid a gorgous 2008 Windginuity One-Design sail at that same event.

Congratulations Pierre. Well done. Looks like fun.
Betcha can't throw a flaka with that kit though. Go on. Betcha cant :)

Seriously, that little wind was as much as we got. However still all went out on small gear too, sometimes the sheer balance some of these guys show in those
week conditions is just amazing.
