What a classic shearwater day...
20-25 knots from the time I rigged up (9:30) to the time I left (4pm). When it's on, it's on

Yes I did launch that kiter into the tree but in my defence he was really pulling hard on the lines which when I was launching another kiter was the signal to "GO". I guess in 25 knots it means something different. Luckily no harm done.
I think I've only got a wicked bruise on the outside of my rib (or torn a muscle there) from that catapult, I'm not sure what I hit on the way over the handlebars, but I think that I was unconscious for a second or so underwater... I didn't know which way to swim so I could get some air when I came to. I was also convinced my mast had broken from the force of hitting the water, that was the biggest catapult I've ever had. Luckily I didn't have any trouble getting out of the harness lines underwater. Not sure if I'll be able to sail tomorrow, that last run back was agony

Thanks for putting up that photo of me pretending to gybe, as usual weight is too far back, knees too straight, not sheeted in enough. And I thought I was doing well on that one! Sometimes you have to see a picture of yourself to know what's going wrong.
Hopefully this rib/bruise/muscle will let me get on the water tomorrow, got a hot date with a svelte JP
