Hi Group,
Quick email - I'm considering buying one of these (red) slalom boards. Has anyone sailed one and willing to let me know their thoughts?
JP are just releasing the new Slalom II which is yellow. They are in the same sizes but have a curvier outline.
Would be interested to hear anyones thoughts on the red ones?

Helo from adelaide, yes have sailed thie board. Keep in mind, it is aslalom ie racing board. Gets up to speed V-quick, points well and loves to go in a stright line. Yea its a fast board... but others are faster, yea it turns well but others will turn better.... If you compare this board to a slalom board of 10yrs ago ie a Drops race board.... my humble opinion is the JP **** over them. Buy one but be awear of what your buying... a realy good slalom board.

I had a quick run on the 94, relatively easy and comfortable to sail. I couldn't get great speed on it, the wind was marginal. It handled my 7.5 v8 comfortably, the rails are quite boxy, so don't got for the bigger one unless you plan using 7.5m and up sails.
