A nother one ........Couple of nights ago ..................i was asked to help in what could only be described as a very nasty looking ankle injury it was at 45 degrees to what it should have been.
The QLD fella was layed up in the seaweed and held himself together for a good three quaters of an hour as friends hung with him.

Most times these injurys are bad but not quite as obvious and an effort is made to get friends or you transport yourself .......this was a shocker.......The best thing was to get the puffer as soon as possible before moving him.

He had to wait a bit ,,,,,,,but there was no real other way.

Pushing your limit is fine ,,,but build up your jumps and stay in control ,work the manouvour out as clearly as you can in your dreams and head before attempting new redical stuff.

Wait for the day when you feel your best and the wind is consistant not balistic.

Heaps of these twisted jumps are performed by launchin vert and dropping out of the sky ................if you rotating wildly down wind or out of control you will have either hit the wrong ramp and of whipped it way to hard.

Some days arent suitible to learn new jumps ...........

What happened to the vertical stall, at the top of the jump floater then dropping in nose first landing , this is the best jump to learn to feel and learn land back loop s and prepare for forward loops........................

STRAIGHT UP, STALL FLOAT DOWN A BIT STOP DROP THE NOSE IN UP TO YOUR KNEES.

Any way made a call to Gero hospital in the morning and he was flowen straight to perth ..............that morning for emergency surgery .............FRIENDS said it was a complet mess

Hope you come good to sail soon

Any way ..................................this type of injury are not good

It doesn’t surprise me take a Ambo was out at corro’s, Everyone is on it out there, great to see crew pushing themselves to the limit. Lets hope that guy with the injury is okay.

Garry, Ben’s old man was telling me about you King. Doing crazy no handed gybes between the cray boats.

I love Gero. I would love to have Coronations as my backyard
