Hello, I started windsurfing back in 1982 in Puerto Rico on a Windsurfer One Design, quickly moved to Mistral Tarifa and was jumping small waves , my gybing was good and could waterstart (i struggled sometimes). I moved to the US to a no wind state and gave up windsurfing. Well, after 20 years im back in PR and I want to start sailing again. I did some research and found out that the equipment these days is very very good. I need a suggestion on equipment, Im 45, weight 180 lbs (80kg), im guessing that I will be very rusty and probably need several sessions to get back in the groove, and I will be sailing in coastal conditions in 10-20 knots. I am looking for something that will give that bump and jump feeling I like and that is easy to jibe and maybe uphaul in the beginning. Thanks
p.s. sorry for my spanglish!

I'll let others advise you on gear but I can say you won't regret getting back into windsurfing. I had a break of 10 years and have now been back into it for about 5 and I'm stilll loving it and getting better and better! You will be a little rusty but most of it comes back instantly - just like riding a bike, as they say.
I don't know about your spanglish but your english is excellent!

If you are an athletic guy with good sailing skills previously, including water-starts, then you will get back into it very easily.
It really is like riding a bike.
Therefore, don't think you will need to go down the path of getting a really big board.
120-140L will be plenty, and you would actually cope with less than that. If you get 140L, then you will want a smaller board within a year with reasonable water time.
I suggest a Freestyle-Wave style of board, as they are really forgiving and the single back strap makes getting into the straps much easier.
