Only one round of competition so far, An Expression Session that was won by WindWarrior Team Rider Luke Johnson KA86
It was light south easterly so the comp zone was moved from 7 Mile Beach Gerroa to Windang.
Luke's 'crazy goiters' were a sight to behold

Forecast is looking MUCH better for Friday, Saturday and Sunday with 20 knot nor easters predicted and 2 metres of swell

Will see if we can track down any more info regarding the Wavesailing titles and post

Will be interesting to see how they went today (Saturday 25th Feb)..is prolly blowing its tits off in Geroa today...doesn't look like there is much swell however...yesterday would have been pretty good...I'm interested to hear what the WA guys thought of Geroa..although they haven't got it at its best...

Friday and Saturday were pretty windy.
Friday was at Gerroa with about 20 knots and shoulder high sets. Saturday blew all day. Contest was moved to Shoalhaven Heads because surf was small at Gerroa. Wind reached about 30 knots, and waves reached over head high.

Matt Holder (WA) won the opens. He went off.
Mick Westra (Windang) came 2nd and Dean Hendrie (Newcastle) came 3rd.

Great week. Lots of surfing, good sailing in the end, and way too much to drink.
