We get bigger days on occasion, but this is representative of moderate conditions.

It reminds me of home!!

I used to love that sort of sailing, lots of ramps to jump, soft breaking waves which don't (always) break kit and a few sections to hit.

Then I visited Gerroa....

Having said that, as I haven't been on the water for 2 months I'd take anything!

I like that. I've only been wave sailing for a year or so, and it amazes me how small a wave can break gear! Nobody broke gear on this day, though.

Hi Mr Puffin, I was reading an article on sailing around NY in the March issue of a Pommy mag, written by Jace Panibienco (?). Anyway they mention the Peconic River - I'd always wondered why you call yourself the Peconic Puffin, now I know the Peconic part, but do you get Puffins over there?
Nice dose of realism with the video too.
