The most noticeable tech wise difference is the fairly forward foil track position,
how is that short distance of the frontfeet to masttrack feel with wind foiling?
I haven't had enough wind or TOW to make an accurate comparison. On the levitator I have the infinity 99 mast all the way forward and on the shred sled I ended up putting it nearly all the way back after the first session
I generally like having the front foot closer to the mast which is one of the reasons why I am considering the shredsled versus levitator for lightwind
for example on the freestyle 115/76 my front foot is ~ 12 inch from mast and my back foot is ~36 inch from mast, but on my levitator 150/99 my front foot is ~20 inch from mast and my back foot is ~40 inch from mast.
I very much prefer the more forward front foot placement, because it is much easier to shift my weight forward and control a lifting foil. On the levitator when I am starting to overfoil I will often endup needing to shift my back foot forward to control a lifting foil, as weight shifting does not provide as much leverage (I guess it's more a function of how far forward your front foot is from the foil mast as that is the pivot point).
