I'm interested in what wind it takes off in? I need 8 knots. I think that this foil takes off with a wind of 10-12 knots.

the Chinese have strange wings. Why invent. It would be better if the Chinese copied the starboard. I bought a leg that came out with $ 280 delivery. I will make the fuselage for the wing from Zulu fins 1200 and for the wing horue h10.

I don't think it's clever if the Chinese (or anyone else) slavishly copy anybody.
Foil brands must spend a bucket on design, prototyping and testing and the market for foils is comparatively small.
I doubt any of them are raking it in.

Buying cheap knock-off foils doesn't make sense.
You'll probably end up with a foil lacking the original design subtleties and longevity, and be difficult to onsell - but most importantly you'll be complicit in lessening the viability of the legit foil brands.

Its all machine made anyways...

There are guys purchasing very expensive 'custom' foils 'from' Europe. When receiving the 'custom' foils the parcel originates from China and has bits from a different brand..

Don't be fooled here.

Do you think that WS boards do not come from the same two or maybe three factories producing maybe 85% of annual new boards ...

boards for Windsurfing are made at the Cobra factory and the quality has fallen significantly. I have a Board 2004 starboard free formula 198 l without carbon fiber weighs 10 kg I already skated on it on hydrofoil 3 seasons and deep tuttle box did not break.

If the mast fails it could damage your board, I went with AFS after I saw a video on their website where they tried to break the Wind95 mast!, included backing a SUV on it.

AFS is made in, and ships from, France.

got the mast. Made with high quality, weighs 2.8 kg. When you press the mast with two feet, it practically does not bend.

You can't tell anything about the quality without an X-ray and an ultrasound analysis. Judging by the shiny spots on the outside, it was likely not infused with enough reson and full of voids.

2.8kg sounds pretty heavy, my 85cm moses mast has under 2kg. Stiffness can be made by fat profile geometry and/or a huge amount of UD fiber layers, prepreg and autoclave.
I like light weight sports gear. So the mast weight is as importand as stiffness. For me.

What about the other parts?

The wings will be from horue h10 and zuulfins 1200. I'll make the fuselage myself.
