gday all

im going to bali in August for a month. Was curious as to what form of board bags everyone uses when travelling budget airlines, Air Asia etc?
planning on taking 2 maybe 3 boards, depending on airline excess rules.

Get the biggest coffin you can get ya hands on......

Throw 3 boards in there with all your clothes packed between and around them......

Take a back pack onto the plane!

Done

Best way to go

yeah thats been my usual trick as well. But after speaking with call centre people at a certain cheap asia airline was told that i cant check in boards and clothes as 1 item anymore and would be $20 for check in and $10 per kg over 15kg's for sporting goods.Hence the 2 board thoughts to limit weight...

I bought a double board bag from Squid 4 years ago. I have had plenty of use out of it and it looks like it will last at least another 10 years. I would strongly reccomend anything made by Squid

had heaps of deck grips and leggies off squid without a problem, probably gonna get a coffin off him soon, for the amount i will end up using it(1-2 times a year), u cant go past the price, just keep the zips lubricated and they should be fine.

mine has a velcro pocket on the inside too wich is really good for spare fins, leggie wax etc
