easy to get a wave at snapper if you just catch the first piece of crappy wave/whitewash that wraps around the rock on the paddle out, every now and then you get lucky and it turns into an ok wave....paddle out the back (or wide) and you'll be waiting....have had snapper and currumbin as good as they get, found currumbin to be way more difficult to get a wave than snapper (but suppose it all changes with the banks and time of year)

What do they call the break on the right hand side of the Southport breakwall? The one that runs between the wall and the pump out pipe?
