Hello to all.
I am about to get short 6'2 wide board ( al merrick POD or wirefire dominator).
I am not a PRO :) just average. Any advice on fish vs round pin tail on short board would be appreciated.
Regards.
Alex.

I like round tails, what do you normally ride?

6'4 X 21.1/2 round pintail, feels a bit tight or it's just me?

Swallows do loosen up a board thats why they use them on fish style boards.

I dont actually own a fish at the moment

I've heard it can be too loose, prone to sliding whilst turning. ?

They are looser than a round tail or pin, depends on the waves. In WA most guys use round pins for versatility.

What type of waves are you surfing?
