Is there a product available that comes in a spray can to gloss a new board after the final wet and dry sand? I only plan to shape a board here and there and dont want to fork out for a compressor. Cheers.

Most of the gloss coats you see are just a layer of resin applied like one would varnish wood from what I've seen. You can buy a plain spray bomb in clear another option is buying a 2 part clear and applying like you would varish.

The other option is if you lay down enough in the hot coats and don't have to sand too much off wet sand the board to 600-800 grit polish it with a mild grit polishing compound and finish it off with a marine wax.
