Are you looking for a surfboard a kitesurf board or a twin tip?

Da Lewy makes surfboards and kitesurfboards but I don't think he does twin tips. He's located in Perth.

^^^Agreed!

Yep D.A.Lewy is your best bet if you want a local shaper that does both. Hes located conveniently in Osborne Park.

If you order 2 boards (surf & kitesurf boards) from him Im sure he'll cut you a nice deal as well.

Thanks for that!

I'm after a directional kitesurfboard and as the ones of the shelf are either to long (I want one around 5.6 or to much shaped like a fish I'd love to get a custom one...

I found two other shapers in Margaret River and dunsborough so I might check them out as well....

hey Ganja,
diffinatly go with Dave at Da lewy boards he is on the corner of guthie and hutton st in ozzy park in his new show room!

I had a 6.2 custom kite board shaped for me with inserts aswell, sic board and he shapes it to what sort of style you want to ride, it is my 3rd lewy board.

I also had it so i can surf on it when i go travelling. it has 2 * oz glass on the top and 1 * 6oz on the bottom. compared to normal surfboards that have 4oz glass, so they are hell stronger without the weight u would get in other boards say from cab or naish etc

he has had about 20 yrs + experience in shaping and surfing spending alot of time with guys all over the world who surf, tow in and kite. so he knows his **!

his number is 0412552800

the red and black board is the kiteboard before putting inserts(as dave gets u to ride it so the insert are in the right spot) and tail pad on, but i ride strapless but have the option to ride straps when it gets big..

also boards are cheaper than normal kiteboards too.

hope this has helped :)

also i am not affiliated or sponsored by lewy, i just like his boards :)

Lots of great shapers mentioned here, I know D.A.Lewy makes a nice board and I really liked the look of a Mark Stone (Stone Surf Designs) board I saw up North recently.
I am sure Anja appreciates the suggestions and hope she doesn't mind me letting you all know that she is down Margs way (with limited net access) at the mo where she was going to pick up her new custom Marty Littlewood (Delta Designs)board.
As most would know he also knows his stuff when it comes to kiteboards, so Im guessing she is having fun getting to know her new board.
