Mate why do you want to go there 4??

Its my fav break when it works.....and when it works which I am very frustrated with because the council pushed alot of sand back up the shoreline in summer. This has made the wave break close to shore.

At the moment I reckopn we need a big storm to smash the sand back out to the beach and create a sand bank. The break can hold a bout 20 blokes as it comes off the rocks but on any given day with swell there there must be close to 50 ppl there. If its good swell on the weekend you can bet there will be millions of ppl there. Thats when I head south!!

A good mal wave but if your on a shorter board be prepared to paddle hard if you want to get up on the wave as it breaks with a not so steep face and the lip crumbles over the face until it reaches the beach where it can pack a bit of punch. It works on a 3.2mtr Rottnest swell and pumps on a 4 mtr plus swell. Can be very incosistent and a wait between sets is very common there. Lots of beginners go here.

To get there it is just south of the Oyster bar on Port Beach Rd. Near the north mole in Fremantle.

Have fun!!

I surfed it a few years back and it was breaking down the rockwall, then about 20 metres before the beach it would open up allowing you to tuck in, get slammed on the shore wedging sand up your date Nice wave though
