To all the above replies.
The reason for the development my new product which is currently being trialed by it's surfers in the Eastern States by a national manufacturer is as follows :
SAFETY preventing INJURY. All of us at some stage will and have endured some pretty nasty wipe outs. It's part of what we do.
In my case I hit the reef and sustained quite a serious injury.
ALL DUE TO THE FACT THAT MY LEG ROPE BECAME ENTANGLED around my ankle and through my toes. This doesn't happen often but when it does it's annoying , what's more it's dangerous.
Subsequent trials of my product have proved highly successful.
Additionally , the leg rope functions with marked improvement in two ways. It is easier and quicker to retrieve and it is held further away from feet while under the water making it literally unnoticeable.
