Its never to late to start surfing . Learning to surf is like learning to ride a bike - can be very hard at first , embarresing and frustraiting but once you get it you will wonder what was soo hard in the first place.....
If your in QLD my advice is to go and have a holiday at one of the many headlands that litter the QLD or NSW coastline that has a sandy bottom . Have a few quick lessons with Surfing QLD or what ever and your away , simple as that really! Surfing is not rocket science but simply takes some persistence in the early stages!
