just thinking about buying the kids a jacks board just because they are so cheap, anyone had any experience with them??

Hi Turps and welcome to the forum mate!

Ill be honest with you - jacks boards are cheap for a reason , however they would probably be ok for the kids. Be aware that they have pretty average glass jobs that dont hold up too well over time. They are pruduced in bulk so not too much care is taken on the final product. But like I said they'd prob be fine for the kids.

I bought one for my girflfriend once. She used it twice, I used it about 10 times. Seemed to be OK but like the others have said, they are made to a price.

They look the goods though...

I think they are fine for a little tacker or beginner, but once you get serious or are surfing bigger waves its also time to upgrade. But certainly a good enter level option.
