It's a sad indictment of the commercialisation of surfing when a genius ripper, like Marzo, is dropped by Quiksilver in favour of another generic air kid or middling surfer from the right demographic or board short-selling region.
He actually suffers from a condition called Aspergers syndrome, theres a great write up from his mum on his website:
