Kinda pricey in comparison to everywhere, but great location for a family in my opinion. Right on the cusp of the beach between mega beach/stall hard sell & not so bad either side of Jalan Kartika (road) or the beach. Kuta beach is right out front & adjusting size is as simple as walking North for more size, waterbomb is a few minutes South & Discovery mall. Poppies one is also very close if you or the missus is into haggling. My tribe and I stayed at Hard Rock last time. Was handy for me to sneak out to Kuta Reef early then be back for breakfast and the days festivities. You have plenty of options.
