Anyone have one of these? are they any good? they look pretty nifty to me.

I've thought about it. But then you've got a dirty, sandy, wet, wetsuit inside a bag. Instead I'm that weird guy who gets out of his wetty on the shore, then hangs it over the board for the walk to the carpark and walks back in speedos*. Obviously if it's civilisation and there's a shower and bitumen/footpath to the car I'll use that instead and then just get changed on a towel. I don't like dirt and sand in my wetsuit so that's the motivation for the beach change. And another clue to my identity is revealed ...

*Doesn't work so well if you surf commando under the wetty.

I like the way your roll. I am south of the river an usually surf where there aren't any places to shower or change. plus I do tend to go commando under me wettie.
I use a plastic tub to chuck the wettie in but the problem is that anything I want to keep dry in the tub invariably gets soggy.
might give this thing a go.

I use a tub as well. But depending on the walk most of the bulk water has dripped out by the time you get back to the car. And then there's (almost) always a tree or a fence or a bush to lay your wetty out on while you get changed*. By the time you pack it in the car it doesn't get much else wet. I throw it in with towels etc and they get wetter from drying me off than they do from a wetsuit on top of them. And then I hang it up when I get home.

*Also doesn't work well if you're forgetful.

**Also sucks in mid winter when your nuts disappear up into your stomach somewhere and your knob is the size of three 5c pieces by the time you get back to the car.

just take the dry stuff out of the tub, then it stays dry.

On a related note, I'd be interested to know how many of you blokes wash your wettie out after a surf...

I two towel it - one for me to stand on and catch the wettie as I take it off - and one for me. I roll the wettie up in the towel and just chuck it in a tub in the boot and then wash the wettie out in the shower - every time.

My wetties usually last me the better part of 4-5 years; whereas a mate of mine who just chucks it over the pool fence tends to have to get a new wettie every 2nd year...

I just take mine in the shower with me when I get home, saves water that way I guess and my house mate loves the sand in the shower not.......
Mine last at least three seasons and generally only the zips bust. I recon they dry faster in fresh clean water as well

Yeah same. Only time I don't do this is basically if I'm surfing down in Secrets....and they've got hot showers in the change room so it all works out.

Managed to have a morning surf in my wettie today and then an arvo surf at Cott (very small) in my boardies
