Its a bit sad that the navy cant find somewhere else to bomb like way out in the ocean wheres there are no people.

Can't really train with the Army to give bombing coordinates out at sea though.
They used to use Warnbro sound as the bombing and firing range. I have to get UXO forms to perform any trenching on my property

I remember as a kid Dad would take us up to our shack at Wedge on long weekends etc to get away from the hords that come down here. The bombing range was no problem, there are tracks that used to go back out through dandarragin and regans ford, alot longer but no biggie. It also used to be pretty awsome to watch from the sandhills behind the cliffs at southrocks, and it used to keep the crowds well away! pick your times gents and you could get stuck up there which would be horrible!! Haven't been up there for probably 6 or 7 years so dunno what access would be like to those old tracks with the new highway.

some more crew looking for the "PeaKnuckles"-classic!
Just be careful going over the sand ridges-use a spotter.

I hear you about the army. I supose we can't expect them to swim. It just seems a bit of a shame to blow up the beach. Looks like autum is here with 3m swell on the way. It will be nice to see a bit of rain and for the temp to cool of a bit.
