If the Cott one goes above 0.75m or even better 1.0m I'll be happier (but surprised if they do).

Bleh. I didn't get out today until it was onshore, and it was crowded, small, and closing out. Hurray for Trigg in summer.

My mate went down at 6:00am and said it was OK, but by 7:15 the crowds were in... when I got down there at 7:45am it looked very straight, was well into cross-shore and the crowds were B.S. - plus a surf comp at the end of 2nd carpark... I didn't bother as I knew I would just get too frustrated.

[in the 5 min I watched, I literally saw a kid run down some guy paddling out - straight over his back]

Not many of those around, especially at this time of year.

Ah, OK, I thought it might be the main break on a day when it's feathering out the back. I'm not that familiar with it so I wasn't sure. A form of medieval death then?

Yeah, it looked like it in the distance. Crowd was too much for me so I stayed further along. Got 3 OK waves amongst the closeouts . Now's the time, when the work crew have all left.

Sort of. I got there at 6am and it was crowded so I walked halfway to Scabs carpark. Banks were worse (difficult since 3rds was already straighthanders) but meh, nice day for a paddle. So warm already at 6am. Out of the water by 8:30. Beautiful day, shame about the waves. I wish there were banks but it's just not going to happen before winter. I need to get out of the metro area .

I'll probably be same general area tomorrow depending on swell forecast.

Not here. Strong offshore. There were a few at first light, but the offshore quickly flattened it. At the end I was sitting in so close my feet were touching the sand. I got -2 good waves the whole time.

The point looked to be good again, but again 30+ people out so it hardly looked worth it.
