I didn't really watch any of this, but the reports kept coming out of injuries.

1 ruptured Splene, a broken back and now just another major injury with an unconscious Tuhiti Haumani needing to be resuscitated and rushed to hospital. Not all the top 10 surfers i concede but still, the waves must have had some serous punch in them

Lets hope those punters are ok. Its always been a dangerous place.

JJF wins it 4 out of the last 5 years. Thats pretty bloody good. He must be almost Mr Pipeline of the modern era now.

I kept seeing clips of the event and assumed it must be an oldie. I might have to sit and re watch it all now

just watch the first 10 mins of the final to see the master dominate the opposition

Ha i just read this about the event. I had no idea it was so environmentally friendly. Maybe Kelly might try and buy it next year

I just watched the final. I see what you mean but the waves seemed nothing spectacular in regards to size. JJF killed it though
