Just wondering if anyone has tried the trace up device that tracks the distance you paddle and surf, the angles of your turns, speed, height of airs, number of turns, gps overlay to a phone app, calories burnt, duration of surf etc.
They look interesting and have a cool overlay that you put with your gopro footage. they are practically a personal stats analyser.

They sent me an e mail offering me one for $79. If it had a clock on it like a FitBit then it would be a cheap fun thing, but I'd have to wear a watch too which puts me off.
