Just back from a trip to the east coast and discovered that there are now stringent rules regarding tow surfing in NSW.

yea i had a look at that all common sence **** just standard things you would have in any ship or boat a pwc, ant much different is it. but we just got a bad name for ourselves in vic every wog and there dog doing 360s 50m from stkilda pier has pretty much given anyone and every one who rides one in vic labed as a hoon you get that in the big city.i have my SLSA RWC Rescue (Tow In) Certificate but it is pretty usless in vic there are NO rules yet it is still considered as a tow sport where you need a spotter, the ski only comes out when we here that magic 8ft call from costalwatch stuck in the impact zone with 2 people on is a saga with 3 it is just down right dangerous. i herd the goverment will make some rules when someone dies eg. like when someone dies at a intercection you see traffic lights up there 6months after the accident!!

Ultimately tow-ins will screw themselves because of the lack of common sense and courtesy towards paddle surfers.
