I am sure many of us perth based crew have been a bit frustrated with the overdue arrival of the first NW storns (needed to unstraighten the world most straight beach break)When i saw the forecast for this storm i was pretty stoked., This will spread the crowds out to make the peaks nice and manageable and take the pressure off the point for sure.Here is a walk through this morning so you can see how the first half of this storm has worked the sand. (tldr - its done a great job so far!)



These shots were part of a test of a new Go Pro 10 to work out best settings and corp ability into 5.3 k video -( so please forgive a few selfie shots in there..)

On a side note - the Go pros are pretty amazing these days (especially the stabilisation of hand held shots) (coming from the perspective of a full manual dslr video shooter)
