Eucalyptus oil, paint scrapper and a hair dryer will get you started.

Sorry to revisit this thread giuys but I've just bought a 2nd hand Bourton Fat Bullet with a tail pad that was a mess. I've got the pad of with no issues and most of the glue has come up with it, but there are still a few areas that won't budge.

I've been recommended to use a number of things but just want to be certain as I don't want to ruin the deck before I even get to ride it.

So along with a bit of elbow grease what else can I use to get the glue of? WD40, Wax Remover, Petrol, Eucalyptus oil?

Wax and grease remover, get it from repco.

^^ It will get soft with wax and grease remover so just a dry clean rag should do the trick.
