About to go to Singapore for a 3 weeks work trip. Did some research, most people have to fly 5 hours to Indo for surfing or try the wave pool. Does anyone know a place to surf in Singapore? Thanks

This is the best you gonna do is my understanding. If you're there for 3 weeks. I'd be getting on a plane , otherwise you just gonna eat and drink. (actually doesn't sound that bad)

If you want to get on the water on a board, try The Stand Up Paddle School at Tanjong Beach Club on Sentosa Island.(Apologies for mentioning the dirty word on this forum) www.supschool.com.sg/. They have good quality boards at an amazing location with warm water and warm hospitality. Tanjong Beach is also hope to the Singapore Paddling Club who paddle Outrigger Canoes among other things and has a health contingent of expat Aussies and Kiwis. A great place to catch a beer with some locals. Isabelle who owns and runs the SUP school is awesome, and lived in Australia for a while. Not too far a walk from the Wavehouse.

^^ Make sure you drop in to the Blue Oyster Bar afterwards, their Pina Coladas come with the most divine little umbrella.

Wavehouse is sick. Sure , it's not a real wave, and it does take a bit of time to wire., but it's fun and there is some
Crossover. Watch some of the locals rip it up too. Pop over the bar for a tiger between sessions.

I've been in Singapore for 3 days after spending 2 weeks in Bali, all I've seen is smoke thick smoke shops and eating here is so expensive,16 bucks for a beer, good luck finding a wave I've got nothing.
