Be prepared to drive check out the maps and be ready to cross the island at the drop of a hat.The weather patterns change real quick. Have surfed on the East coast of the North island in the morning then crossed over to Raglan on the West coast in the arvo for some of those famous Raglan lines.Only takes 2 hrs to cross from one side to the other. Raglan is well worth the visit plenty of travellers in the water and plenty of guys willing to part with local info. I'm jealous. Good luck and drive safely.
