What do you think about them. I myself had one bad experience with one camp in bali and i was never going to return to another camp ,untill i met this cool guy who owned and ran a camp himself and he changed my mind about them.

SUrf camps have been great. I remember when we were groms and Mum used to send us to them for School holidays on the Sunshine coast. It really helped to get the basic skills and then more advanced skills down pat.
Also the one on one coaching really made a difference. Im all for em (except for the gay flouro rashies)

As for a surf camp in BAli I could'nt think of anything worse than surfing the polluted water at kuta. Yeh , usually not bad conditions for beginners but Im not a fan of swimming in poo.......

Haven't had the chance to go to a surf camp, though from my sailing backround I'm all for coaching. You never realize how much help it can be with a little instruction and incouragement

I've been considering going to one... im just a beginner n' it seems that there are some basics ya just gotta be told as opposed to learning em the hard way if you ever want to get anywhere on your own.

I live in Scabz in WA and it seems that there are a few surf schools on offer, any tips on which ones are better anybody ?

cheers

The guys with the surfschool down at the Brighton end of Scarborough seem to be busy all the time so must be doing something right.
