I bouught a 7'6 Megastar Mini Mal from these guys a few years ago.

Its proved to be pretty durable, it rides well plus it presents good value for money for a learner board. Its also ideal for those days when newbie friends want a paddle and you can offer it as a 'loaner board'

The only fault I'd have with the board is the FCS finbox has become loose over time - salt water then gets in and I've ended up with 'fin cancer'. I'm not sure if this problem was down to a thin glass job around the fin plugs, or me sticking the fins in the sand.

Made to a price and glass on the bottom is usually lighter than the deck.

That said the shapes look ok, surfem untill they die then look at better boards

cheers mate,

I'm looking to get back onto shorties after time on a longboard whilst I had a buggered shoulder. I have limited funds (baby and missus) and the price is good and might do me for a start board until I get used to it.
Will check it out

Check out perth gumtree mate, lotsa bargains and deals on there for some good boards aye (maybe slightly used but still good). I've gotten boards on there that are like near new for a cheaper price at that! Especially if ur tight on the budget aye.
