Unfortunately at this time of year you will have to be really lucky to get good surf in a 100kms radius of Adelaide. The south coast area around Victor Harbour is predominately onshore at this time of year and your other option is the Mid coast area near Noarlunga which can be good on a SE summer wind but lacks swell. Only really works when the swell is big enough to push swell between the bottom of KI and Yorke Peninsula. If you dont mind small 1-2foot reef waves you might score something small and fun if your lucky. Expect a crowd though if its on.

South coast is offshore in NE-NW winds.
Mid Coast is offshore in SE-E winds.

Yeah bondage has pretty much covered it. This time of year is ordinary. When the swell arrives it's accompanied by 20 knot onshore winds. Doesn't stop numbers from paddling out generally but rubbish nonetheless.
