also tell some one when you've just seen a large shark .i wave sailing at watermans this afternoon when the 4 other windsurfer all got out after staying out for another 20minutes i had a pretty bad wipe out and knocked my fin out and put my knee though my rail leaving a decent cut in knee luckily i was only 300mt out and managed to get in only to find out there was a large shark out there.

I was windsurfing Toms a couple years ago and was enjoying a few waves on my own. Then a couple of surfers paddled out (desperadoes) and about 10 minutes later I almost ran over a hammer head shark about 300m off the break and it was heading straight for the surfers. It wasn't small. So I raced back in and told the two blokes that we were not alone. I pissed off back to Metts and on the way home stopped in at Toms and had a yarn to the two surfers. They said as they walked up the stairs to the carpark they turned around to see a 2.5m hammer head sniffing around in the break. Now that was a close call
