Hi all, for the first time since I started using them 10 years ago, I have rounded the socket of a grub screw very badly. Any tips on removing one? It's currently about 1mm above the edge of the finsystem. Trying the old super glue/fin key trick as we speak but Im not holding my breath.

FCS do a ratchet thingo, in the handle there is an easy out type of fitting. That should do the trick but the superglue trick could work as well

I had the same problem...

Bought one of those FCS tools that doggie mentions... and used the normal allen key end... seems the 'give away' type FCS keys are made of soft metal and as well as the grub screw being rounded, you may find that the end of the key is in fact rounded also...

FCS tool is about $15 - go buy one...

Nah I originally rounded it with the FCS ratchet, the grub screw socket is very shallow so Im not really sure what else to do.

Grub removed, just drilled out the socket a little and used the taping removal fitting on the ratchet, always wondered what that was used for, cheers for the help.
