Just buy a new one. best solution I've found. Once they start to come off, there done IMHO

You could also try shoe repair glue - is waterproof and flexible - I have used it with good success. Got the tip from local shaper.

I have glued down lifted tail pad sections that have not re-lifted for years... (I keep my boards until they delaminate).

You can clean the over-glue off with Mineral Turps.

Ive never had any success glueing them. The cost of a tail pad these days is not that bad, if your chasing cheap you can buy them for under $30 so i just don't see the point

TimKay you can even apply Kwik Grip when the pad is wet (the brown glue, not the clear one. The clear one sucks and won't work especially if wet). Tape the pad down with masking tape or a weight and it'll work. It's contact glue but you can just apply it like normal glue as long as it's held in position while it starts to cure. Easier than the contact method too. You can wipe away excess while it's wet or cut it away with a razor once cured but it always sticks, always works.
