So I’m a bigger guy at 108kg and I’m wondering if there’s any other larger guys around here that are running quad set-ups. I have a Lost V3 rocket coming and my plan was to run it as a quad and I’m looking for any recommendations for FCS compatible fins. Mainly going to be surfed on beach breaks around Sydney. My old short board is an old surftech JC equalizer thruster which currently has a set of XL G10 flat inside foil fins in it.

At the moment fins on the top of the list are the FCS2 Performers

I run these in my baby swallow fish - http://www.finshop.com.au/Products?Product_ID=212&cmd=Display

I am about the same size as you, I find these fins to be great for me.

The smaller trailers loosen the board up whilst there is still plenty of speed and drive.

Yeah - They're great fins I run the trailers as side bites in my longboard but I don't have a front set and they (FCS) discontinued them. I found one set but they wanted as much for shipping as the fins so I've still been on the look out for a set. I found a tri set on ebay that I'll try to pick up.

Rydoba - yeah they're not cheep, I've also been searching ebay for options.

Just get a tri/quad set, so you can mix & match depending on conditions. Something like

If it's a wide tail area you need more fin n less when the tail area is a lot more pulled in. I imagine you are probably going with a big volumed tail so make sure you get lots of fin. If you are unsure Try and demo a few sets. Normally charge you $20 then that comes off the price when you buy them. Go see Tim at Aloha on Pittwater - he will look after you

FCS classes them as a Large template. I've had the rears in my LB for a while. The shot of the board is in the 2015 LB quiver thread.

Hope to get out on Thursday/Friday.
