it depends on which model of plane you are flying on. Most flights from Perth are on an A320 which has a maximum length of 1.9m. This is apparently due to the size of the cages they carry the luggage to the plane on. My mate was knocked back last year for a 6'5 and ended up having to buy a board over there. I wouldn't risk anything bigger as they might just jam it in the cage and damage your board. Any flight on A330 etc are fine for longer boards. Also 6'3 is your board bags length not the board

were definitely on an A320, heard of people being knocked back before hence the question. We flew a320 last time also.
