The Bali bombings of 2003 affected not only all Australians, but peace loving people the world over.
It could be said that we surfers contributed significantly towards the development of the popularity of this beatiful island as a major tourist destination.
While the deep emotional scars suffered by the loving families and friends of the innocent victims will never quite heal, an entire race such as the Balinese people who are of peace and goodwill, can not be blamed for the horrific acts of an extremest few.

They reckon there's waves in Scotland but frrrriggin' frrrrreezin'.
Scored a little section this arvo. 2 foot close out on Trigg sandbank.
I went out for a paddle not expecting anyhting and along came this little wave.
Tiny as it was it built up a bit over the bank. Because I hadn't had a wave for yonks I went ape****. Even when it's flat ya have to keep the connection.
I'm up at Lanno for a few days from Feb 9th my birthday. Guess where we're staying ? ....The CWA Beach cottage.
If I can get my boat up there I'll be out at Hole In The Wall if the swell's right.
