If you want it perfect then finish it off with some turps or acetone on a rag
I recently cleaned a board up that i was going to trade in with acetone as i have done in the past, unfortunately i left the board sitting on top of the rag i had used with acetone over night and when i picked it up in the morning it had eaten a hole through the resin, made it go all crystalised, had to sand it back which only half fixed it, cost me $50 bucks off the trade in price i reckon! From now on i will wash my boards down with water after using acetone. Live and learn!
