I am hoping to get the first paddle next week, will see.... mine is a different op.
You might get in the water early than a month depends on your body capacity of healing, doctors always like to cover their backs just in case, if you normally are a fast healer...keep positive

One trick I used was to not watch surf vids, only read surf mags. It keeps you keen and vids just make you want to get in the water. Sorta worked for me.
The only vids I watched was JCs shaping and glassing DVDs, they just made me want to build boards and still do

Yea the coverage was excelent, that would have killed me off
PS3 is great for killing time, had to get rid of mine after I got back in the water.

I've just booked an appt on the 24th for exotoses in the left ear. I'm deaf in the left side again and can't put it off any longer.

Yep, thems the ones Pup, just caused by cold air and water. I had the right one done maybe 15yrs ago and have been putting the left off for years. Can't hear out of it now and it's screwing with my balance a bit so it has to be done.

Best of luck getting back into it NM, take it easy and don't bust a gut.
